A wide collection of speedways great, good and interesting gathered at the National Speedway Museum situated in the Paradise Wildlife Park, Herts. for the annual Buffet Lunch know as the Paradise Lunch, and although there may be no angels it is certainly a joyful occasion.
From midday the members started to arrive determined not to miss a minute of this opportunity to socialize, chat and laugh with their fellow members. A special car park had been set aside for the “Speedway People” and members and guests were quickly directed to the “Speedway car park” close to the marquee that had been set up for their luncheon meeting.
The rapidly gathering members, guests and ladies made their way inside the marquee where they, still chatting, seated themselves at the tables the level of talk and laughter only dropping when the gathered comrades were told the food was ready for them.
