The Directors of Southern Speedways Ltd., have issued the following statement:-

“Owing to the distance of this speedway from our London Organisation, and the difficulties and duplication of administrative work required in the operation of Liverpool speedway, we find it necessary to recommend the disposal of this Promotion”

Rather than close this Speedway and so deprive Liverpool and its thousands of supporters of their favourite Sport, it has been decided to offer “Liverpool Speedway” as a going concern to any person or body of persons who may be sufficiently interested, to take over the Promotion in its entirety and so continue the Sport in Liverpool.

1. Speedway Lease on Stadium (with option of renewal for further Five years on expiration)

2. All Speedway Equipment including Tractor, Track Graders, Roller, Rakes, Brooms, safety Fence, Lights, starting Gate, etc., etc., Officials’ Uniforms, Dressing Room Equipment, including Hot Water and Shower Bath System, All Office’ Equipment, Workshop Building and Equipment, and various items too numerous to mention.

3.  Complete Team and Junior Riders.

4. Programme and Car Parking Rights

£3,900 to day would be £88,335
