Skegness Braves 1998

The Skegness Braves would perhaps be better known as the Skegness Nomads because having completed 3 meetings at the Skegness venue difficulties with the landlords convinced the Braves they would be better off looking for somewhere else to complete their fixture list. Fortunately help came from nearby Kings Lynn where Buster Chapman offered the team a race night at the Norfolk Arena.

The name was changed from Skegness Braves to Norfolk Braves but it would seem a seasons worth of programme covers had been printed. Economy seem to have dictated the decision not the change the name on the cover although the Body colours and the inside of the programme was changed. So although this programme was from near the end of the 1998 season and the Braves were well settled in at the Norfolk Arena the cover still reads Skegness.

AKA Norfolk Braves
