On the left an example of a Wimbledon programme from the pre war period. Unlike many of the other programme covers I have looked at and researched there is little to say about Wimbledon at the time of this programme, except perhaps the stability of the situation at this venue.

The promoter at this time was Ronnie Green having take over the year before at this time it would not have been realised just how much he would be involved in the history of Wimbledon.

In 1938 the team was racing in Division One of the National League.
